Jasmine Moore is a lighting designer and assistant designer based in NYC.

She is drawn to the creation of work that explores the emotional impact of lighting and the depth of conversation it can incite within audiences. Stepping beyond conventional methods and the subtlety of light as a secondary character are also challenges she is interested in experimenting with.

Jasmine’s work spans theatre as a freelance lighting designer and assistant, with her most recent work showcased at NJPAC. She also works in broadcast frequently through The Lighting Design Group as an assistant lighting designer.

When not working, Jasmine favorite past times spending time friends and visiting family, exploring museums and art galleries, and when time permits, relaxing with her cat Sugar and good book.

Jasmine’s training includes a degree in Theatre Arts from the Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts and the Santa Fe Opera.
